As knowledge and social infrastructure, public libraries are positioned to not only meet the lifelong learning needs of their residents, but also provide platforms for community engagement and dialogue. In Vancouver, the relationship between the Library and the City has evolved over recent years, with the Library taking on an increased role in supporting broader City priorities.
