Sonia Zagwyn

Sonia Zagwyn began working in libraries when she was 14 ¾ years old and never really stopped. Between studies in visual arts and creative writing she worked in three B.C. library systems, completing an MFA in Creative Writing at UBC in 2011. Her projects are often interdisciplinary, from graphic fiction to musical collaborations. Her poetry has appeared in cross-genre magazines such as Versal and Front. She is currently writing a circus libretto and performs her songs in the band Calliope and the Monday Man. She is the Teen Services Coordinator at the Powell River Public Library.
